Polyethylene foam is also known as PE foam and is a closed-cell foam. This closed-cell foam is used ideally for packaging and protects products from impact damage, marring, and scratching. PE Foam is a material that has great shock absorbing ability while dampen the effects of vibration in the shipping process.
As a cushioning material in packaging applications, Polyethylene is available in foam sheets, pouches, tubing, bundles, anti-static, VIC, clear or printed laminations etc.
We offer Polyethylene foam in 1/32, 1/16, 3/32, 3/8, 1/8, 3/16, 1/4, & 1/2 inch thickness. PE foam can be thick and stiff once you hit the 1/4 & 1/2 size foam. If you are looking to wrap your item in PE Foam, I'd suggest going with the sizes 1/32 through 3/16. We have large sheets requested and some even as small as 3 x 2 sheets.
